I live near one of the world’s most active volcano…

Every morning I walk down stairs and glance out the window at Mount Merapi.  Mt Merapi is one of the world’s most active volcanoes.  It stretches 2,968m above sea level and is about 27 kms to the north of Yogyakarta.  Often clouds are covering the peak of the volcano, but sometimes you are able to see smoke drift from its top.  Here are some of the photos I have taken of Mount Merapi.
