Martabak

Martabak is best described as and Indonesian pancake.  It can be sweet or salty.  Here is a photo of the first martabak that I tasted.  It was salty but I liked it a lot.  I avoided the two green chilies at the top of the photo.  One of the first things I learnt to say in Bahasa Indonesia on this trip was "tidak pendas" (no chili).
